Hello! I want to tell you all that I have a little girl who will be turning 6 on the 7th, she was just diagnosised last January with autism.

I TOO AM NEW TO THIS SITE...AND IN FACT I'VE NEVER REALLY USED MESSAGE BOARDS, I'M QUITE EXCITED!!! THE FIRST PLACE TO TURN AFTER FINDING OUT THE SHOCKING DIAGNOSIS OF "AUTISM" IS PERHAPS THE "ADMINISTRATIVE CODE" FOR THE STATE IN WHICH YOU LIVE. THE CODE COVERS THINGS SUCH AS THE "SPECIAL EDUCATION LAWS"...THE MORE INFORMATION YOU LEARN THE BEST YOU CAN BE PREPARED FOR ADVOCATING FOR YOUR DAUGHTER. I HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
