Re: Chelation for Autism

Hi, there's a huge misconception about chelation therapy- which seems to be slammed by the same doctors who think nothing of putting our children on high doses of anti-psychotic drugs, ritalin, haldol, thorazine, etc, etc... If parents were left with the options given to us by mainstream medical doctors, we'd all be looking for group homes from the day of diagnosis. Thankfully, ARI and DAN! have brought more hope to thousands of families. Please note that of all of the treatments considered on the parent ratings of over 23,000 parents who responded to ARI's survey, chelation was the #1 highest rated treatment for autism. To see this rating, please see:http://www.autismwebsite.com/ari/treatment/form34q.htm

Also, there's hundreds of parents who can help you get more information on chelation treatments at this site: www.generationrescue.org

Anyone can watch interviews about children who have recovered from autism to the point of no longer being diagnosed autistic at either Generation Rescue, or at Autism Research Institute's website.

I am not going to give you advice, I am just here to give you another side of the story, from a parent who knows atleast 200 parents treating their kids for heavy metal toxicity.
