I am a new member from san diego, with a wonderful 12 year old son with high functioning autism. I hope that the "friend finder" will my son find some local friends

Hey Alan, Welcome to the Boards!
We used to live in SD, up in the Vista area. That was where Connor was born. Unfortunately, we are a bit farther north now (about 5 hours more).
I'm sure once the FriendFinder system recovers from the sudden rush, you will be able to find someone in your area, SD is so huge.
