Hi everyone Lots of info in Aussie news today about a breakthru in genetic testing which has isolated many genes thought to be responsible for autism. This is apparently a major for autism as in the past only some genes have been identified. there are hopes that this info may lead to effective treatment or even medication for reversal of symptoms in 5 to 10 years. Has anyone heard any further information of this?? I believe this study was done in the US involving DNA testing of families with more than 1 child on the spectrum. Best wishes to all - Hi to Marie!

I heard something very vague on the Today Show, but they did not get very specific, which was too bad since when they said "autism" my ears perked up. My computer is on the fritz, so I'll probably research it a little when I can go use my parents' computer, or when my new one gets here end of this week.
