We are considering a move to Greenville, SC and were wondering if any one had information about the quality of autism services in the area.

I am moving to Goose Creek very soon. I went there to investigate in September for a week. The school we choose was an excellent fit for our daughter. I think you should visit the area and see about the fit.

Hi Kim, I spent two weeks in Greenville checking out the area for services for my son. My husband and I are trying to relocate to South Carolina now because they offer many more services than are available here in Florida. In fact, the state of South Carolina provides three years of ABA therapy up to thirty hours per week for your child once they have officially been registered with Autism with the state. That being said it will depend on where you move in South Carolina as to whether you will have to be on a waiting list for ABA... It's so frustrating isn't it? Over all so many people were extremely helpful. They also have Community Development Centers where they role model other children without autism with your child at times and I think that's great. I hope this helps and I wish you the best in your journey!
